In a news release dated 01/17/13 the ODJFS announced that they will be consolidating offices in an effort to save the state nearly $2 million annually.

The old days of going to your local unemployment office and filing for a check each week are long gone. With access to the internet increasing, the state has required claimants to file claims either online or over the phone.  These changes should have no affect on claimants or employers, as the consolidating offices offer no in-person services.
