At the company picnic on June 15, Sheakley CEO Larry Sheakley announced the promotion of Eleni Liston, Shari Herper, and Angie Wright to President positions within the company. Each of the three women are veteran members of Sheakley’s staff and have shown significant commitment to both the company and the clients served.
Eleni Liston has been promoted to President of Operations and was formerly the Vice President of that division. Eleni is responsible for developing strategy and providing vision to assist in making Sheakley the most highly regarded client-centric PEO resource in Ohio and northern Kentucky. A strong believer in the value of excellent Customer Service, she also diligently works to provide a world-class Customer Service Experience to clients as they begin their partnership with Sheakley. Eleni previously held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Sheakley for 20 years. She has a personal interest in those with learning disabilities and is involved with the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati.
Shari Herper has been promoted to President of the Sheakley UniComp (MCO) division and was previously the Senior Vice President of that division. Shari has been with Sheakley for more than 25 years and has worked in many areas of the company, beginning in Third Party Administrator (TPA) for health benefits division. She works closely with her team to ensure that employees affected by an illness or injury on the job receive the proper care to return to the job healthy and productive. In her free time, Shari spends time with her husband, their 2 children and their sporting activities, and the family dogs. Shari also enjoys working with her daughter and friends to help train shelter dogs and prepare them for adoption.
Angie Wright has been promoted to President of Workers’ Compensation and Safety and was formerly the Senior Vice President of that division. Having held several leadership roles at Sheakley, Angie now provides oversite for all workers’ compensation, safety, and unemployment operations to ensure client satisfaction and process efficiency. She also holds the position of Treasurer for the Service Association of Ohio. In her free time, Angie is actively engaged in her local community and recently participated in the Clermont County Work Readiness program for high school students.
“There have never been active presidents over the different companies operating within Sheakley. As Senior Vice Presidents, Angie, Eleni and Shari have effectively and efficiently run their businesses. They have reported to the CEO for years and have conducted themselves as presidents without the need of a title. They have displayed the characteristics and business acumen of what a president should be. It’s time that their passion and loyalty for the company were rewarded. I am looking forward to continuing to collaborate with these individuals to grow the Sheakley name.” said Larry Sheakley.
Sheakley champions the importance of equal opportunity work environments and embraces gender diversity in the boardroom and at the executive level. Sheakley also strives to promote from within and foster the growth of their employees.
