Furlong Building Enterprises, a recent addition to the Sheakley family of clients, started in 2010 during one of the worst building slumps in recent memory. Even so, year-after-year, it’s been able to far surpass financial goals while continuously growing its team. Furlong was recently recognized for its tremendous contribution to local economic growth by being named a finalist in the 15th Annual Tri-State Family & Private Business Awards presented by The University of Cincinnati and the Goering Center for Family & Private Business.
Over 570 family and private businesses were nominated and Furlong Building Enterprises has been selected as a finalist in the private business category. The recipients of this award are judged on several of the 10 best practices of family and private businesses as defined by the Goering Center which includes everything from continuous financial success to encouraging community service.
Sheakley is proud of all of the hard work and dedication Furlong Building Enterprises has invested to achieve this accomplishment. We wish Furlong the best of luck on August 26th when the winners are announced!
