January 2013 – Unemployment Numbers Increased Slightly

Ohio’s unemployment rate increased slightly in the beginning of 2013. December’s rate was 6.7%, and raised slightly to 7.0% in January. Though this is an increase for the state, the rate is still lower than it was this time last year (7.6%) and below the current National average (7.9%).
