On July 19th, BWC filed their appeal regarding the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas decision in the San Allen case to award the plaintiffs $859,440,258.79 million dollars in restitution.
On the same day, an Amicus brief was filed by a coalition of business and labor associations to the 8th District Court of Appeals stating that the bureau acted within its legal authority in establishing rates for Ohio’s group rating program.
